【 Conference Review 】 The second phase of the spinal minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment training course has been successfully concluded
Recently, the spine minimally invasive technology training course (second phase) sponsored by the Bone Tuberculosis Prevention and Treatment Professional Committee of the Shandong Anti-Tuberculosis Association and the First Department of Orthopedics (Spinal Infection/Osteojoints) of Shandong Provincial Public Health Clinical Center was successfully held. This training course aims to promote advanced minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques, help clinicians improve surgical skills, and improve the treatment effect of spinal diseases.
With the continuous advancement of medical technology, minimally invasive spinal surgery has become an important method for the treatment of spinal diseases. Compared with traditional open surgery, minimally invasive surgery has the advantages of less trauma, faster recovery, and fewer complications, and is gradually favored by more and more doctors and patients. However, because this technology is difficult to operate and requires strict skills for doctors, relevant training is particularly important.
This training course covered many aspects of minimally invasive spine surgery, including basic principles, operating techniques, equipment use, postoperative management, etc. The training comes in various forms, including theoretical explanations, surgical video observations and practical operations. The organizer of this training class, Director Tan Hongdong, Director of the Department of Orthopedics of the Shandong Provincial Public Health Clinical Center, specially invited well-known domestic minimally invasive spinal minimally invasive experts as lecturers. The first is the Orthopedic Expert of the Public Health Clinical Center: Director Gao Hongwei, Director of the Trauma and Sports Medicine Department, Minimally Invasive Surgery Director of Spine Surgery Department Han Dapeng and Director of Spinal Infection/Osteoarthritis Surgery Department Xu Liang taught the students cutting-edge technology and clinical experience. Afterwards, the students performed surgical operations and watched surgical videos.
Director Tan Hongdong answered questions on site
After that, there were Professor Dong Jianwen from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Shi Shiyuan, President of the Ninth People's Hospital of Hangzhou, Professor Deng Youwen from the Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Professor Qi Lei from Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, Professor Zhao Chengliang from the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, and Binzhou Medical College. Professor Geng Xiaopeng from the Affiliated Hospital and Professor Yu Mingdong from Weifang People's Hospital imparted cutting-edge technology and clinical experience to the trainees.
Professor Dong Jianwen lectures on the topic
"Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of single-port coaxial endoscopic fusion with MED-assisted MIS-TLIF"
Professor Shi Shiyuan's lecture topic "Prevention and Treatment of Perioperative Infection in Orthopedics"
Professor Deng Youwen lectures on the topic
"Treatment Strategies and Decompensation Prevention and Treatment of Congenital Hemivertebral Deformity"
Professor Qi Lei's lecture topic "Complications and Treatment of Dual-channel Spinal Endoscopy in Lumbar Spine Surgery"
Professor Zhao Chengliang's lecture topic
"Discussion on thoracolumbar microscopic fusion technology through transforaminal approach"
Professor Geng Xiaopeng's lecture topic "Application Sharing of OSE and UBE in Two Special Cases"
Professor Yu Mingdong lectures on the topic
"Application of Delta Spine Endoscopy Technology in Thoracic Ossification of Ligamentum Flavum"
This training course is based on VBE (V-shaped dual-channel spinal endoscopy) technology, covering UBE technology (unilateral dual-channel endoscopic technology), PELD (foraminal endoscopy), MED (disc endoscopy), OLIF (oblique front endoscopy) Minimally invasive spinal techniques such as lumbar fusion (through lumbar fusion) are provided through theoretical lectures by well-known domestic experts, live surgical broadcasts, on-site observation, model practice, case discussions and other content outputs to comprehensively improve students' surgical techniques and theoretical foundations. During the training process, the experts not only explained in detail the key points of minimally invasive spine surgery, but also had in-depth interactions with the students.
The successful holding of this minimally invasive spine training course not only improved the professional level of the participating doctors, but also played a positive role in promoting the clinical promotion of minimally invasive spine surgery. Similar training activities will continue to be held in the future to further promote the popularization and development of minimally invasive spine technology.
